Answering Your Questions (FAQ)

What’s Mann Theatres doing to give back to frontline workers and help those who are impacted by COVID-19?
Mann Theatres was proud to partner with United Way during shutdown, donating 10% of all Curbside Pickup sales to support organizations on the front lines. Get details on these organizations here.

Effective immediately, doctors, nurses, and first responders will be given a discount on Mann Theatres tickets. Workers must show a valid photo work ID at the time of purchase.

What’s Mann Theatres doing to keep customers and employees safe in theatres?
Like many others, we’re taking guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Here are actions we're taking to protect our employees and customers:

  • Requiring employees to wear masks or cloth face coverings and encouraging our customers to do the same.
  • Disinfecting registers and credit card processors after each customer transaction.
  • Reinforcing to employees and customers the importance of staying home if they’re not feeling well.
  • Measuring employee’s temperature and assessing symptoms prior to starting work.
  • Putting hand sanitizers throughout the building––something employees and customers alike can take advantage of before entering the theatre.
  • Adding payroll hours to support more rigorous cleaning routines.
  • Plexiglass partitions to concession tils, as well as at the box office.

We’re encouraging customers to observe social distancing and remain six feet apart while entering and moving about in our theatres through the following measures:

  • Our seating will ensure customers are six feet apart. Every other seat will be blocked and groups must be at least 6-feet apart. If you come with family you may sit together.
  • Actively monitoring and, when needed, metering customer traffic to promote social distancing.
  • Posting signage at the front entrance of the building.
  • Implementing floor signage.
  • Dedicating employees to ensure customers wait in line at an appropriate distance until they're called to the register.
  • Use of overhead audio messaging in our theatres.
    • Is Mann Theatres allowing the use of reusable large popcorn bags and soda cups in theatres?
Effective immediately, and until further notice, Mann Theatres will suspend free refills on large popcorn and soda out of an abundance of caution.
